Set comprising heating and disinfection
Heating
Due to the type of system, heating can only be operated in connection with the jet system.
The heating operates automatically with the jet system. If the jet system is switched on, the heating
runs and it switches off immediately when the jet system is switched off.
The heating does not quickly heat cold tap water into warm bath water.
It is designed to maintain the bath water at a constant temperature while the whirlpool is in use.
UV disinfection
Due to the type of system, the UV disinfection can only be operated in connection with the jet system.
If the jet system is switched on, the UV disinfection activates automatically; if the jet system is switched
off, UV disinfection also switches off.
This ensures that the bath water is constantly disinfected while the jet system is in operation and is
monitored electronically.
The UV disinfection system is effective against germs and bacteria in the water. However, it does not
work against crusting and deposits caused by bath additives, flakes of skin, water quality, etc.
We therefore recommend that you also disinfect the whirlpool using our Duscholux disinfectant from
time to time.
An audible warning sounds if there is a fault in the UV disinfection unit. In this case, get out of the
whirlpool immediately. Switch all functions off, switch the mains cut-off switch off and let the
water out. Contact DUSCHOLUX customer service immediately and do not use the whirlpool again
until one of our specialists has approved the bath for use again.
