Product description
Device overview
See fig. 1
Functions and operating modes
The IIoT edge controllers combine control, operation and monitoring by a
CODESYS V3 PLC with web visualization to a complete control unit. The
CODESYS V3 control of the TX700 has the functions PROFINET controller,
EtherNet/IP scanner and Modbus TCP as well as Modbus RTU master. Addition-
ally the devices of the TX700 family can be used as Modbus TCP and Modbus
RTU slave.
The devices were designed as CODESYS V3 PLC and IIoT edge controller for DIN
rail mounting.
Additional functions
Ethernet TCP/IP or UDP/IP communication
OPC-UA server and client, MQTT
Serial communication via RS232, RS485 and RS422
Installing
Hook the device into the top-hat rail from below and tilt it upwards until the
upper snap-in hook engages on the DIN rail.
Do not cover the ventilation slits in the device.
