Battery Replacement

WARNINGS:
To avoid electric shock, remove the test leads from
the meter before removing the battery or fuse covers.
1. Loosen the one Phillips
screw on the battery cover.
2. Remove the battery cover.
3. Replace batteries with two
AAA batteries.
4. Observe proper polarity as
shown inside battery
compartment.
5. Install the battery cover
and tighten the screw.
WARNING:
To avoid electric shock, do not operate meter until
battery and fuse covers are securely fastened to the meter.

Fuse Replacement

WARNINGS:
To avoid electric shock, remove the test leads from
the meter before removing the battery or fuse covers..
1. Loosen the one Phillips
screw on the fuse cover.
2. Remove the fuse cover.
3. Gently remove fuse and
install new fuse into the
holder.
4. Always use a UL
recognized fuse of the
proper size and value:
500mA/600V (5 x 20mm)
fast blow for the µA/mA
ranges and 10A/600V
(5 x 20mm) fast blow for
the 10A range.
5. Install the fuse cover and
tighten the screw.
WARNING:
To avoid electric shock, do not operate meter until
battery and fuse covers are securely fastened to the meter.
