– 6 months if not used frequently.
- Change the water every 2 or 3
days if used regularly. If not used
regularly, empty the water and put
the appliance away. Pour water again
before using the appliance again.
- The oil and water removal must
always be done with the oil cold.
- If you want to fry again, wait at
least 5 minutes after pouring the last
liquid to let oil and water separate.
After frying:
- Select the minimum position (0)
using the thermostat control.
- Disconnect the fryer from the
mains.
- Fit the power cord in place (Fig.7)
- If the appliance is not going to be
used for a long time, let it cool down
and then empty the water (empty it
out until oil starts to come off the
evacuation tube).
Practical recommendations:
- For food with a high water content,
it is better and quicker to fry in two
lots with less food than in just one.
This will reduce the risk of splashes
and spillage.
- The "two-stage frying method"
can be used for an even and crispy
coating. This system consists of first
frying the food until it is reasonably
well done and then frying again using
very hot oil to brown the food.
- Olive oil with a minimum acidity
level is recommendable for frying.
- Do not mix different oils.
- Wash potatoes before frying to stop
them from sticking
Cleaning
- Disconnect the appliance from the
mains and allow it to cool before
undertaking any cleaning task.
- Remove the frying basket and take
the electrical device away. To remove
the electrical device, rotate the
resistance lift switch (Fig.8) unitl
such a devce comes out of its support
guide.
- Remove the waste filter-basket.
- Open the tap(L) to pour water into
a container and then pour the oil
into another container (not the sink),
according to the regulations in force
for the treatment and disposal of
waste
- Clean the equipment with a damp
cloth with a few drops of washing-up
liquid and then dry.
- Do not use solvents, or products
with an acid or base pH such as
bleach, or abrasive products, for
cleaning the appliance.
- Never submerge the appliance in
water or any other liquid or place it
under running water.
Anomalies and repair
- Take the appliance to an authorised
technical support service if problems
arise. Do not try to dismantle or
repair without assistance, as this may
be dangerous.
- If the connection to the mains has
been damaged, it must be replaced
and you should proceed as you would
in the case of damage.
Ecology and recyclability of the
product
- The materials of which the
packaging of this appliance consists
are included in a collection,
classification and recycling system.

use the appropriate public recycling
