INSTALLATION UNDER OS WINDOWS 7 / 8 / 8.1 / 10
You have to install device driver only before first usage.
1) Plug USB cable to PC.
2) Windows will recognize new USB device.
3) Download the driver from our website www.i-tec.cz/en and install it.
It is installed as „USB to Serial Port (COMx)", x - depends on used OS and will differ from
another previously installed COM devices, which are installed as COM ports (e.g. Bluetooth
device). During configuration of port your connecting external device you have to use
this port - COMx. One end of cable is type USB A- connect to PC's USB port, the second
end is type DB-9 -connect directly to serial port of your external device (DB-9 = 9-pins I/O
connector).
Note:
If need (e.g. your device has DB-25/F connector), you can use also DB-9/F to DB-25/M
adapter. This adapter is not included in package.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Do not expose to extreme temperatures and air humidity.
• Use the device on flat surfaces – you will prevent it from slipping and falling to the
ground.
• Save the user manual for a possible use later.
In cooperation with the service department:
• Check functionality after falling to water or to the ground.
• Check functionality when the cover is broken.
• Send the device back if it does not work in accordance with the user manual.
