Step 2: Setting the alarm. To adapt to each user's needs and environment, the Socus
CO2 meter allows you to customise the CO2 concentration at which the alarm will be
triggered. This does not alter the measurement system.
The default setting for triggering the alarm is 2000 ppm.
Important: The current limits according to applicable regulations and standards
usually vary between 1000 and 1500 ppm. We recommend a maximum threshold of
2000 ppm for triggering the alarm. This does not alter the measurement system and
the measured values continue to be shown on the display even when they are higher
than the value defined for the alarm.

Press and hold down the MODE button (the screen goes black quickly) then
release. The display shows 2000 by default.

to select the first number. The number selected flashes.

To increase the value of the selected number, press

to select the following numbers and repeat the previous steps.

Press and hold down the MODE button (then release) to confirm the value of
the alarm and go to the next setting.

The calendar is displayed in Month/ Date format in yellow with the year in blue.
Proceed as indicated above to select and change the values of the calendar.
Press and hold down the MODE button (then release) to confirm the calendar
settings and go to the time setting.

The display shows the time in minutes format: Seconds in yellow and hour (in
24 H format) in blue. Proceed as indicated above to select and change the
values of the clock. Press and hold down the MODE button (then release) to
confirm the time setting and return to standby mode.
In standby mode, the meter displays the CO2 concentration in ppm for the room in
yellow. The temperature and humidity are displayed in blue.
Step 3: Enabling/ Disabling the alarm. In standby mode, press
The
symbol appears above the temperature display.
This confirms that the alarm is enabled. If the symbol does not appear on the display,
this means the alarm is disabled.
IMPORTANT: when the sound of the alarm is disabled, the alarm will not be heard (the
visual display is maintained). It is recommended not to disable the alarm. The alarm is
only available when the set CO2 value is exceeded.
