Do not dispose of batteries as household
waste and in the environment neither. Do
not dispose of batteries in the incinerator,
to prevent them from exploding.
The appliance contains precision electronic
parts. Avoid violent shocks or the exposure
to heat and dust sources.
To ensure a more accurate weighing, put the appliance on a flat, sta-
ble surface (e.g. tables, working tops, etc.). Do not place the appli-
ance on a tablecloth or blankets to ensure the weighing accuracy.
Respect the weight limit that the scale can support. Heavier weights
may damage the scale irremediably.

This appliance must only be used for the
purpose for which it was expressly de-
signed, that is for weighing food.

The appliance was designed only for indoor use and non-extreme tem-
perature conditions; do not leave it exposed to the elements (rain, sun,
etc.).

The manufacturer accepts no responsibility and the warranty will not
apply for any commercial use, inappropriate handling or use of the ap-
pliance, any damage resulting from use for other purposes, faulty oper-
ations, non-professional repair or failure to comply with the instructions.

After removing the packaging, and before use, make sure the appliance
and all the attachments are working well.

The packing materials (plastic bags, expanded polystyrene, nails, etc.)
should be kept away from children since they are potential sources of
danger.

Do not put it close to/on hot surfaces as heaters, cooking hobs, flames
and similar; furthermore, avoid the contact with easily flammable ob-
jects, as curtains, cloths, paper, etc.
