The WHR is fitted against the wall with a minimum distance of 235mm
between the WHR base and the floor. Mount the suspension bracket sup-
plied with the unit to the wall, using a spirit level.
☞
Take account of the minimum suspension height given.
8.4 Connecting air ducts
The connecting air ducts, minimum
mum air resistance and free from air leakage. Do not use flexible ducts.
We recommend fitting the ventilation system with a non-powered extractor
hood and intake and exhaust valves from J.E. StorkAir.
The outside air intake duct and also the air exhaust duct must be rendered
damp proof between the roof/wall passage and the WHR; this avoids for-
mation of condensation on the outside of the duct. The air exhaust duct
must drain in the direction of the unit.

The heat exchanger uses outdoor air to cool the warm exhaust air, this
causes condensation in the heat exchanger from the unit. The condensa-
tion water which collects in the heat exchanger is conducted to a drain
(outlet). This outlet is located under side of the of the WHR.
The PVC condensation drains external diameter is
should be connected by means of a pipe or hose to an air trap that is con-
nected to the sewer. The top edge of the air trap should be positioned at
least 60mm below the outlet from the drain of the WHR. The end of the
pipe or hose should be below water level in the air trap.
☞
Ensure that the air trap to the is always filled with water
