NP3523 TOOL USE:
DISCONNECT TOOL FROM THE AIR SUPPLY.

1. Push down on magazine latch and gently pull
magazine cover back as far as possible.

2. Insert a strip of fasteners into the magazine (keep
points of nails pointed down).

3. Slide fasteners forward all the way into the tool nose.
4. Push magazine cover forward until the magazine latch

catches securely.

5. Attach the air supply. The tool is now ready to operate.
NOTE:
ƒ When loading fasteners into the tool, do not depress
trigger or safety mechanism. Keep yourself, as well as
others, away from the nose to avoid possible injury.
ƒ Always load pins with arrows pointing down towards the
direction that pins will be driven. This guarantees that
the chiseled end is entering the work piece. Otherwise,
jamming can occur which will lead to driver damage.
ƒ Only load a single pin length at any given time.
ƒ Before loading, remove existing pins and/or pin strip
fragments.
ƒ Load to the right of the Auto Lock-Out lever. If there is an
Auto Lock-Out feature, make sure to load fasteners to
the right of the Lock-Out lever and then slide forward all
the way into the nose area before closing the magazine
cover.
ƒ Mark your fastener strips with a black marker. Partially
used strips may not have an arrow printed on them,
making it difficult to know which end is pointed. You
may wish to mark each fastener strip before loading to
indicate which direction to load.
