5.4 How to set the colour of
the TimeBeam
It is possible to change the colour of the
TimeBeam to match the colour of the
kitchen floor. There are 9 different col-
ours available.
It is also possible to deactivate the Time-
Beam.
1. Press the on/off button to activate
the appliance. Make sure that the ap-
pliance is in setting mode, refer to
"Setting and starting a programme".
6. BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Make sure that the set level of the
water softener agrees with the water
hardness in your area. If not, adjust
the water softener. Contact your local
water authority to know the water
hardness in your area.
2. Fill the salt container.

2. Press and hold, at the same time but-
tons (4) and (5) until the indicators of
buttons (3), (4), (5) and (6) start to
flash.
3. Press button (6).
• The indicators of buttons (3), (4)
and (5) go off.
• The indicator of button (6) contin-
ues to flash.
• The display shows a number and
the letter C. Each number is rela-
ted to a different colour (0C =
TimeBeam is deactivated).
4. To set a colour, press button (6)
again and again to go through the
menu of colours. The different col-
ours show on the kitchen floor.
5. Press the on/off button to deactivate
the appliance and to confirm the set-
ting.
3. Fill the rinse aid dispenser.
4. Open the water tap.
5. Processing residues can stay in the
appliance. Start a programme to re-
move them. Do not use detergent
and do not load the baskets.
