6.5 - FUNCTION DESCRIPTION F-T
The function F/T allows to have proportional
injections to a coming signal from a water meter or any
kind of device with potential free contact emitter. Such
proportionality can be 1:1 (F) type, for each pulse
received the pump will give one stroke, or time driven (T)
type, the time to dose is set through a special potentiometer
that allow to set a percentage of time from 0 to 100% (time
range from 0 to 60 sec.); e.g.: at 50% set, time "t" will be
30 seconds, so when a pulse arrives the pump will start
dosing for 30 seconds continuously. If during these 30
seconds the water meter produces a further contact, the pump
will not take care of that and it stops in the end of the 30 sec.
The choice of the function F or T is possible acting on a
back part pump switch (see pos.1 fig.14).
ATTENTION: the choice of among F or T type must be done with the pump not powered.
NOTE: to have a fast priming we suggest to set the mode switch to "T" mode (see pos.1 fig. 14), rotate the potentiometer
totally on the right side and to short-circuit the pins 3 and 4 of water meter input connector (see pos.2 fig. 13). For a short-circuit
contact the pump will be activated for 60 sec. If 60 sec will be not enough to prime the pump please short-circuit contact again the
pins of water meter input connector.
