WARRANTY
ART. 9 - MOTOR-ReDUCeR (COMpONeNT)
5-Year Warranty – maintenance free:
The electric drive mechanism has been tested to withstand
3,000 cycles, equal to Class 1 of the resistance to the number of
motorisation cycles in the unI En 13561 standard.
The mechanism has an operating voltage of 220V and should
be connected to the mains by a qualified technician.
ART. 10 - sAFeTY DURINg Use
As emphasised in the unI En 13561 standard, the danger
of shearing created by moving mechanical parts must be
considered in the safety of use.
This danger is not present for awnings over 2.5 m high or
following the adoption of a jog button positioned such that
the movement of the tube terminal is visible.
ART. 11 - vARIOUs ACCessORIes (COMpONeNTs)
5-Year Warranty – maintenance free:
Warranty valid for all remaining X-TEnSIOn components with
the exception of those subject to specific warranty.
ART. 12 - ReCLAMI
Pursuant to articles 1495(1) and 1511(1) of the Italian Civil Code,
the customer must inform the retailer of any alleged obvious
defect in writing, no later than 8 (eight) days after receiving
the goods. under article 1495(1) of the Italian Civil Code, any
latent defects must be reported to the retailer in writing, no
later than 8 (eight) days from the date of discovery, together
with photographic evidence of the alleged defect. The buyer's
right to claim against the retailer in respect of obvious or latent
defects will expire one year after receipt or installation of the
goods (article 1495(2)).
According to art. 1512 of the Civil Code, the customer may

inform the retailer of any operating fault in writing only and
no later than 15 (fifteen) after discovery under penalty of
cancellation of the warranty.
The legal action by the buyer towards the retailer becomes
statute-barred six months after discovery (Art. 1512 sub-section
1).
The customer may inform the retailer of any non-conformity
covered by articles 128 to 134 of legislative decree 206 / 2005
(Consumers Code) in writing only and no later than 2 (two)
months of discovery. The legal action by the buyer towards
the retailer becomes statute-barred within 26 months of the
discovery date announced in the terms (Art. 132 sub-section 4
Consumers Code).
ART. 13 - TeRRITORIAL eXTeNsION OF WARRANTY
The foregoing warranties shall come into effect solely when the
customer has its own registered office, with the exception of
any other state in which the customer, directly or indirectly, will
sell, install or loan the awning supplied by Velombra Srl.
