Power on LED
This illuminates when the power is applied to the unit and it is switched on. Always
ensure that the 'volume' control is turned fully anticlockwise before switching the amplifier
on or off.
Headphone output
Plugging a pair of stereo headphones into this socket disconnects the internal speaker and
allows you to practise in silence. Take care not to have the volume turned up too high
when using headphones for a prolonged period - you may damage your ears.
Loudspeaker output
This socket is for connection to an external guitar loudspeaker cabinet, such as a Trace
Elliot GSC412 or a Tramp 412 cab, although any guitar loudspeaker cabinet can be used.
The Brat can only drive a single extension cabinet - do not attempt to 'daisy chain' two or
more cabinets together as possible damage may result to the amplifier.
REAR PANEL FEATURES
Mains power inlet
Connect the supplied IEC mains cable here. Before switching on the unit, check that the
voltage marked on the rear panel corresponds with the power supply in your area.
Mains power switch
This switch illuminates to indicate that the unit is powered on. If the mains switch
illuminates but the front panel LED does not, please refer the amplifier to an approved
Trace Elliot dealer.
Mains fuse
If the mains fuse should blow, ALWAYS replace it with one of the same type and rating. If
the fuse should blow a second time, please refer the unit to an approved Trace Elliot
dealer.
