SETUP
N. B. : Before using this device, please make sure that :

All instructions are well understood
•
The device has not been damaged during shipping or by previous handling.
1.
Remove the 4 knurled knobs, cover and sight glass.
2.
Fill the chamber about halfway with distilled water.
3.
Screw in (tighten) the pressure wheel fully to expel air from the system.
4.
Unscrew (loosen) the pressure wheel fully.
5.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 to ensure that all air is expelled from the system.
FIRST TIME USE (WITHOUT WATCH)
1.
Unscrew (loosen) the pressure wheel fully until it locks.
2.
Using the supplied water bottle, fully fill the pressure chamber to the top with distilled water until the water overflows through the trunking.
3.
- Replace the sight glass by eliminating the air as much as possible.
- Tilting the chamber slightly to the left while installing the sight glass, may help to expel air from the chamber.
- Replace the cover and screw in the 4 knurled knobs.
- Tighten the knobs firmly (opposite corners simultaneously).
- If the knobs are not tightened properly, they will be MORE difficult to remove after the test.
4.
- Tighten the pressure wheel (clockwise) to the required test pressure.
- The pressure should begin to rise almost immediately.
- If there is an air bubble in the chamber, it will be compressed as the pressure starts to rise.
- If the knurled knobs are not sufficiently or evenly tightened, water will leak from the pressure chamber.
- This will prevent the system from achieving the required pressure.
5.
Do not exceed 125 ATM/BAR on the pressure gauge.
6.
Release the pressure by unscrewing (loosening) the pressure wheel until the pressure gauge reads "0".
7.
- Remove the 4 knurled knobs, cover and sight glass.
- If the sight glass is difficult to remove, apply slight pressure into the system by turning the pressure wheel to the right until the glass is com-
pletely free.
