Step 1 Select the required attachment for mincing and
put to one side e.g. part 11 for tenderising meat.
Step 2 Assembling the main body.
● Place the stand on a smooth, clean and dry work
surface.
● Slide the Mincing cup (5) in place and make sure
it is positioned securely (see diagram 2). The Shaft
bush, Shaft, Stainless steel blade and Coarse
mincing blade should already be attached to the
mincing cup prior to fi rst use on the machine. If you
require another attachment other than the medium
grinding blade upon your fi rst use of the mincer
follow these simple steps:
● Unscrew the cap, turning it in an anti-clockwise
direction to remove.
● Carefully detach the medium grinding blade and
replace with attachment of your choice.
● If the stainless steel blade com es out while doing
this, replace it ensuring that the blade faces outward
(see diagram 6).
● Reattach the Cap by turning it clockwise.
For Pasta Attachments:
● Remove the stainless steel blade and discs,
replacing these with the required pasta attachment
(8, 9 or 10).
Step 3
* Place the Mincer about 2cm (3A") from the edge of a
smooth, fl at surface.
* Attach the Key (18) to the Lock knob (3).
● Lock the stand in place by turning the
key in a clockwise direction (see diagram 3).
Step 4
Insert the Handle (1) into the hole of the Mincer and
tighten, turning the screw clockwise (diagram 4).

Step 5
● Place the food into the Mincing Cup. Ensure that the
Key (18) is used to press food into the cup - do not
use your hand.
● Slowly turn the handle in a clockwise direction. If
there appears to be some resistance or a blockage
occurs, turn the handle anti-clockwise slowly for
a few seconds before turning it clockwise again
(diagram 5).
WARNING: NEVER PUT YOUR FINGERS INTO THE
FOOD CUP WHILST OPERATING THE HANDLE.
FOR BEST RESULTS:
● Food should be cut into pieces (ideally long strips)
before mincing
● Use about one cup of dough for pasta
● To promote durability, do not turn the handle too fast
when mincing
● Never use the unit for more than 15 minutes
continuously without a short break
● Do not overload the mincer. This unit is intended for
domestic use only and is not recommended for high
volume or commercial application
CLEANING AND STORAGE:
● After use, release the Lock Knob (3) in and anti-
clockwise direction and remove the main body.
● Immediately wash all used parts in a warm soapy
water and dry thoroughly using a clean dry cloth.
IMPORTANT: Never immerse the mincer in water for
a prolonged period. The stand of the Mincer should
only ever be wiped with a damp cloth; DO NOT WASH
IN WATER. Washing the parts in a dishwasher is not
recommended.
Note: The blades and discs are coated with a food
grade oil which is FDA approved. However, both may
darken after use, this is normal.
SOME SUGGESTED FOODS:
● All types of meat
● All types of vegetables can be minced with meat
● Some hard vegetables and roots should be soaked
in water before mincing (e.g. dried shallots)
● All shelled nuts
● All types of hard cheese - including Cheddar,
Parmesan, Edam etc.
