4. let the water kettle cool down for 15 to 20 minutes before using it again.
5. unplug the water kettle when it is not being used.
bOIL-DRY PROTECTION
if you accidentally use the water kettle without water, the boil-dry protection will shut
off the water kettle automatically. if this happens, let the water kettle cool down before
filling it with water to boil.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning it.
• Never immerse the water kettle, the cord or the plug in water or do not let these
parts come into contact with humidity.
• wipe the outside of the kettle clean with a damp cloth or maybe some mild
detergent. Never use an aggressive cleaner. Never use any chemical cleaning
products, steel brillow pads or wooden or abrasive cleaning products to clean the
outside of the water kettle.
DESCALING
use a liquid descaler to remove any scale on the inside of the water kettle as a result
from tap water.
you can also apply the following alternate solution:
1. Fill the water kettle with some vinegar, diluted by water and let this mixture rest
for a night. Do not boil the mixture!
2. afterwards, pour out the mixture.
3. any residues can be removed with a damp cloth.
4. Fill the water kettle with clean water, boil and pour out the water afterwards.
Repeat and your water kettle is again ready for use.
