5. Maintenance and cleaning
5.1 Special safety advice
The multi-point locks SECURY 21 EK / 21 S must only be operated with
power supply units meeting at least the specified requirements (see "Tech-
nical data" chapter).
There is no warranty if this is not observed.
5.2 Maintenance and cleaning
The serviceability of the locking system must be verified at regular intervals.
To do so, check all fastening points and retighten screws, if required.
The mechanical properties of the multi-point lock (key or lever handle
operation / automatic latchbolt) must not be impaired by dirt. They must
be cleaned and lubricated with non-resinous oil at least once a year (See
installation and maintenance instructions M-00090-00-0, point 3).
6. Disposal
The multi-point lock 21 EK /21 ES must be disposed of as electronic scrap
at public collection points and recycling centres in accordance with legal
requirements.
Disposal with residential waste is not permitted!
Packaging must be disposed of separately.
