Service
Complete disassembly of the power unit is not neces-
sary or recommended. Any service requirements that
need to be addressed with the engine or its components
will be covered in the engine manufacturer's Owner's
Manual.
It is anticipated that only two other items could require
servicing on this unit—the hydraulic pump and the relief
valve. This section will cover the removal and replace-
ment of these items.
Relief Valve
If the system relief pressure settings cannot be adjusted
to obtain the maximum system pressure as identified in
Specifications, the relief valve (80) needs to be removed
from the manifold block (83), and replaced.

Hydraulic Pump
Disassembly:
Loosen clamps (74) on suction hose (75). Loosen
elbow (76) and rotate to disconnect from suction hose.
Remove hose assembly (16) from discharge side of
pump. Remove cap screws (69) and washers (33),
holding pump onto pump adapter (86). Slide pump out
of coupling (85).
Assembly:
Slide pump (84) up into the coupling (85), lining up key
and key slot in pump shaft and coupling I.D. Install
washers (33) and cap screws (69) through pump flange
and into pump adapter (86) and tighten. Rotate elbow
(76) into suction hose (75) and tighten clamps (74) onto
reservoir tube and elbow. Install hose assembly (16)
onto the discharge side of the pump and tighten. Ensure
hose assembly does not touch other hoses or parts of
the power unit that could cause wear due to vibration.
