c) Alarm Function
The basis station must not be in sensor scan mode (see chapter 10. a) or any other setting function.
Displaying the Alarm Time
• Briefly push the "MODE" (5) button; the alarm time (hours/minutes) and the display "AL" will appear.
• To return to the normal time, briefly push the "MODE" (5) button or wait for a few seconds.
Setting the alarm time
• Briefly push the "MODE" (5) button; the alarm time (hours/minutes) and the display "AL" will appear.
• Hold down the "MODE" (5) button for 2 seconds until a sound signal is issued and the hours of the alarm time flash.
If the alarm function was off, it is switched on automatically by starting the setting mode. The symbol "
appears.
• Set the hours of the alarm time with the "+/°C/°F" (6) or "-" (7) button. Keep the respective button pushed for quick
adjustment.
• Briefly push the "MODE" (5) button; the minutes of the alarm time will flash.
• Set the minutes of the alarm time with the "+/°C/°F" (6) or "-" (7) button. Keep the respective button pushed for
quick adjustment.
• Briefly push the "MODE" (5) button to end setting mode (alternatively do not push any button for a few seconds).
Switch Alarm Function On/Off
• Briefly push the "MODE" (5) button; the alarm time (hours/minutes) and the display "AL" will appear.
• Briefly push the "-" (7) button to activate or deactivate the alarm function. When the alarm function is switched on,
the symbol " " appears.
Stopping alarm signal or snooze function ("SNOOZE")
• When the alarm function is on, a sound signal is issued at the set alarm time and the symbol "
• Push the "LIGHT" (2) button on the front of the basis station to interrupt the alarm signal for 5 minutes. During this
time, the symbol "zZ" flashes on the display.
After the end of this time, the alarm signal starts again. This process (snooze function) works several times in
sequence.
• To terminate the alarm signal, briefly push any button on the rear of the basis station. The symbol "
flashing.
