Fig 12
- - Once the cover is properly stretched along its length, check that the overlaps
are even, then drill the side holes at 35 cm from the cover edge.
- - When all the anchors are in place, fix the side springs onto the anchors.
Fig 13
- - Pull the straps to stretch each spring (see diagram below), so that the cover

3. Safety Advice
WARNING
Swimming pools can be a serious
danger for your children. Drowning
happens very quickly. Near pools,
children require permanent oversight
and active vigilance, even if they can
swim. The physical presence of a responsible adult is essential when the
swimming pool is uncovered.
- - We cannot recommend strongly that parents learn life saving techniques.
- - Memorise the emergency service phone numbers and display them near
the pool:
European emergency number: 112
Fire brigade: 18
Ambulance: 15
- - This cover is not a substitute for common sense or personal liability.
Its purpose is not to be a substitute for the vigilance of parents and/or
responsible adults, which remains the essential factor in the protection of
young children.
- - The cover must be systematically in place at times when there is no
monitoring, however short they may be.
- - Check that there are no bathers or foreign bodies in the pool before and
during the operation.

Installation instructions & user instruction for Grille FREEZE
- - Prevent from climbing onto, walking on or jumping on a safety cover.
- - If the cover is altered or if a malfunction prevents the pool from being
covered and secured, take all necessary steps to prevent young children
from accessing the pool until the cover has been repaired.
- - Store the tools needed to operate the cover out of the reach of children.
- - Comply with the water levels defined by the manufacturer.
CAUTION
Be aware that safety is only provided by a closed, locked cover which is
correctly installed in compliance with the manufacturer's instructions.
4. Use
"It is essential to keep the water at use height all year round (between 1/3
and 2/3 over the skimmer).
Maximum water level: 2/3 over the skimmer.
Minimum water level: 1/3 over the skimmer."
4.1 Uncovering the pool
CAUTION
The pool cover must be removed by responsible adults following the
instructions given below.
- - Unhook the springs on the corners or ends opposite the storage and all
around the cover (except the storage side).
Fig 14
- - Bring the cover onto the storage side coping by folding it in an accordion
shape.
- - Once the cover has been brought onto the coping, unhook the remaining
springs and fold the cover along the width. Move it away from the deck to
limit the risks of accidental falls.
Fig 14
- - If the pool is fitted with ordinary anchors, remove them.
CAUTION
Always keep the pool in full view during opening and closure operations.
4.2 Covering the pool
French law imposes that pools be covered as soon as they are no longer
in use. The cover must be installed after having checked that there are no
bathers or foreign objects that could prevent the operation in the pool.
Place the cover near the pool and stretch it along the width.
Fix the corner springs or those at the ends on a special shape pool in order
to stretch the cover.
Fig 15
- - 2 adults should each take one of the remaining corners, stretch the cover
over the pool and fix the corner springs.
Fig 15
- - Fix all the springs along the lengths and widths.
