15 Operation and Handing

This chapter provides you with important notices with regard to operating the device.
Observe the following notices to avoid dangers and damages:
Warning
► Do not leave the device unsupervised when it is in operation, so that you can intervene
quickly in the event of dangers.

15.2 Operation

► Please wait min 12 hours before you switch on the ice maker. You will find that the
cooling agent settles out in this time.
 Open the cover of the ice maker and remove the ice basket.
 Check that silicon plug is correctly placed in water outlet.
 Fill water into the water reservoir and observe the min and max marking. Close the lid of
the device.
 Press the "on/off" button to begin the ice making cycle.
 Depending on water and room temperature, the ice making cycle lasts approx. 6 to 13
minutes.
 If water pump can't inject water, the ice maker will stop automatically and signal tone
sounds. The "Add Water" indicator will be on. Press the "on/off" button and fill in water.
 The ice maker stops working when the ice basket is full. In this case the "ICE FULL"
indicator will light up and signal tone sounds.
 Drain all the water, if unit isn't used. Always store the unit without water in the water
reservoir.
Attention
► Change water in the water reservoir every 24 hours to avoid pathogenic organisms.
