Please observe the following instructions for optimal operation of your batteries .
Care and maintenance
If the batteries are stored at too high or too low temperature, the ambient tempera-
ture will have a negative effect on their service life and charging cycles . The proper
temperature working range is between 10 and 30 °C . Overheating as well as under-
cooling will cause the unit to temporarily stop . At ambient temperatures of less than
0 °C the performance of the batteries decreases even when fully charged .
To prevent battery failure, allow the batteries to cool down for ten minutes after use .
Remove them from the device and charge them . Use only the appropriate charger
for charging . Before disconnecting the battery from the charger, unplug the charger
from the power supply . Store the batteries in a dry and cool place . If a battery is
not used for an extended period of time, recharge it at least every three
months to prevent deep discharge.
