[A], take out plate [B] and insulation [C] (if
necessary, use knife to cut out insulation
around the knockout point). Remove so-
cket [S] and fit in new position. Fit parts [C]
and [A] at previous socket position.
5. Connect air channels  note chapter 10.7.
6. Fit front cover  chapter 10.2.
7. For QD AR and QD AL units, screw down
the hood with all 4 screws.

NOTICE
Without a siphon, the ventilation unit will draw
in air through the drain pipe. Always install a
siphon (1½" external thread). Never fit several
siphons one after another without a pipe
divider.
NOTICE
Bacterial attacks are possible if a siphon is
fitted without a drip funnel as the siphon is
not then disconnected from the wastewater
system. Siphon needs seal water drop of at
least 50 mm. Install an open drip funnel with
another siphon at the drain end.
