The AU7007 Global Source Input is a
single-gang, wall-mounted, single Cat 5
cable connected input to the Digital Audio
system. It inputs analog audio, using its
1/8" stereo headphone connector, which is
converted to AES3 digital format, sent to
the AU7000 over a single Cat 5 cable.

Run Cat 5 cable from the enclosure to a

single gang box at the eventual location of
the AU7007 and terminate the cable at
each end with an RJ45 plug (568A).
At the AU7007 location, plug the

terminated Cat 5 cable from the enclosure
into the rear of the AU7007 and mount the
AU7007 into the single gang box and
attach the wall plate.
3 At the enclosure, plug the terminated Cat 5
cable from the remote AU7007 into one of
the four "Source" ports on the AU7000 and
apply power to the AU7000.
4 Plug an appropriate analog source
of music into the 1/8" stereo
headphone jack on the front of the
AU7007 and that music will then
be available to anyone who
selects that AU7007 as a source
on their keypad.

Câble Cat 5 de l'enceinte à un boîtier encastré

Ejecute cable Cat 5 del recinto a una caja única
