In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
The oil radiator must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet.
Do not use this oil radiator in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
This oil radiator is filled with a precise quantity of special oil. Repairs requiring opening of the oil
container are only to be made by the manufacturer or his service agent who should be contacted if
there is an oil leak. When scrapping the heater, follow the regulations concerning the disposal of
oil.
operAtion - installation
1. Place the oil radiator upside down.
2. Hook the U-clip at the bottom of the radiator around the
connection between the first and second fins.
3. Insert the small hook on the U-clip into one of the holes
in the wheel bracket.
4. Insert the screw thread of the U-clip through the other hole
in the wheel bracket.
5. Screw the wing nut onto the screw thread of the U-clip so
that the wheel bracket is firmly attached.
6. Repeat steps 3 to 6 for the second wheel bracket between
the last and the one from last fins.
7. Place the radiator upright on the wheels.
operAtion - use
1. Place the radiator on a flat surface.
2. Set the setting dial to position '0' (Off).
3. Insert the plug into the plug socket.
4. Rotate the setting dial to one of the following settings:
0
Off
I
Low power
II
Moderate power
III High power
5. Rotate the thermostat dial towards the MAX. mark until a click is heard and the indicator light is lit. The
oil radiator will now become warm.
6. Rotate the dial further towards the MAX. mark to adjust the temperature. The automatic temperature
control will ensure that the room remains at the set temperature.
To find the ideal thermostat setting, rotate the thermostat dial as far as possible towards the MAX.
mark. Once the room has reached a comfortable temperature, slowly rotate the dial towards the MIN.
mark until a click is heard. The heater will then turn itself off. The temperature regulator will ensure that
the room remains at the set temperature.
7. Turn off the oil radiator by rotating the setting dial to the '0' setting.
cleAning And MAintenAnce
1. Remove the plug from the wall socket and allow the appliance to cool.
2. Clean the exterior of the housing with a damp cloth and rub it dry with a clean cloth.
Never immerse the appliance, plug or power cord in water.
Never use corrosive or scouring cleaning agents or sharp objects (such as knives or hard brushes)
to clean the appliance.
