The product consists of the following main
components (see fig. 3):
A cover
B housing
C timer PC board
D glass fuse
E connecting block
F transformer
G relay
H (NTR)

INSTALLATION
5.1
Unpacking
Check that the product is complete. The package
should contain:
fully premounted and wired CB-WCS (transformer,
relay, timer PC board with fuse and connecting
block)
user manual
electric diagram
If parts seem to be missing or damaged, contact your
supplier immediately.
5.2
Installation
CAUTION!
Do not position the product where it is
exposed to vibrations or heat radiation from
heat sources. Observe the earlier described
ambient conditions.
When drilling holes note any gas, water and
electricity lines.
Loosen the mounting screws (fig. 4C) and remove
the cover (fig. 4D).
Mount the correct thermal relay (NTR).
The type of thermal relay depends on the
type of extraction fan (FAN 14/28/42)
1400/2400/4200]
Build in the thermal relay (fig. 5A), connect and adjust
it using the overview which is separately supplied with
the extraction fan.
CAUTION!
Make sure that the thermal relay is always in
manual operation (blue button [fig. 5C] at
"H").
Attach the housing (fig. 4A) using four bolts against
the wall. For this purpose mounting holes (fig. 4B)
have been provided in the housing.
Connect the CB-WCS electrically to:
- mains ("MAINS")
- extraction fan ("FAN MOTOR")
- automatic start/stop device (WCS) ("WCS")
or:

to be connected.
- working light (WL) and/or automatic start/stop
device (AST) ("WCS")
- stationairy welding fume extractor (SFS)
[Statiflex 400-MS]
("FILTER")
5.3
Electric connection
CAUTION
Make sure that the system is suitable for
connection to the local mains. Information
about the connection voltage and frequency
can be found on the identification plate. The
cables must be connected in conformance
with the local rules and regulations and can
only be carried out by well qualified and
authorised technicians.
5.3.1 Mains ("MAINS")
Feed the mains cord through the grommet
("MAINS") and connect it in accordance with the
also supplied electric diagram. If the extraction fan
(FAN 14/28/42)
[SF 1400/2400/4200]
with a single phase motor, the black wire must
always be interconnected.
Tighten the cap nut.
5.3.2 Extraction fan ("FAN MOTOR")
Feed the supply cable of the extraction fan through
the grommet ("FAN MOTOR") and connect the
cable in accordance with the also supplied electric
diagram.
Tighten the cap nut.
5.3.3 WCS ("WCS")
Feed the supply cable of the WCS through the
grommet ("WCS") and connect the cable in
accordance with the also supplied electric diagram.
Tighten the cap nut.
5.3.4 WL and/or AST ("ARM")
Feed the supply cable (NCW 11) through the
grommet ("WCS") and connect the cable to the
timer PC board in accordance with the also supplied
electric diagram.
CAUTION!
Prevent damage. Note the colour codes when
connecting.
Tighten the cap nut.
If purchased:
Stationairy self-cleaning welding fume extractor
(SFS)
[Statiflex 400-MS]
Feed the suply cable through the grommet
("FILTER") and connect the cable as described in
the corresponding manual.
Tighten the cap nut.
