The patient can be lowered with the patient hoist by following the instructions below:
1. If the patient is lowered to a wheelchair, apply the brakes of the wheelchair
and remove the arm supports.
2. Position the wheelchair as close to the patient hoist. When lowering a patient
into a chair, try to position the patient as close as possible to the back rest of
the chair.
3. Lower the patient by pushing on the manual control.
4. Position the patient in the chair.
5. Remove the loops of the mounting straps from the buttons of the patient hoist.

6. Remove the waist belt with the velcro strip.
7. Remove the sling behind the back of the patient.

Maintenance and inspection

The expected lifetime of the sling is 2 - 4 years, depending on type of use, storage, regular
maintenance, servicing and cleaning/washing.

Regular maintenance and inspection

The maintenance activities to ensure a good condition for your sling are described below:
For every use and after washing
Check the mounting straps on wear and damage
Check the zooms on wear and damage
Check the loops on wear and damage
Check the backrest on wear and damage
3.2

Shipping and storage

The shipping and storage shall be according following instructions:
Store in a dry place (between +5 °C / +41°F and +45 °C / +113°F).
The relative humidity of the air should be between 30% and 70%.
Components must be shipped or stored without being subjected to damage (not
clamping between something, be careful with sharp objects, ...).
