Function and features
In conjunction with a control monitor the photocell detects objects and
materials without contact and indicates their presence by a switched
signal
• For connection to amplifier type OV110 or OV310.
• Use as retro-reflective sensor or as diffuse reflection sensor.
Range when used as retro-reflective sensor:
- 30 ... 200mm (referred to prismatic reflector ∅ 80 mm),
- 30 ... 120mm (referred to prismatic reflector ∅ 40mm),
- 30 ... 50mm (referred to prismatic reflector ∅ 22mm).
Range when used as diffuse reflection sensor:
- 0.5 ... 15mm (referred to white paper 200 x 200 mm).
Electrical connection
Voltage supply to EN50178.
Isolate power, then connect the unit as follows:
