10. Electrical connection:
Caution:
The wash unit with power supply cable must not be
•
connected to the power supply using an extension
cable.
Arrange the power supply cable so that the plug is
•
easily accessible and can be isolated from the wall
socket.
In case several wash units are to be installed in-line,
•
the power supply cable must not be connected via
further units.
The safety regulations of the hairdressing trade
•
must be observed. Installation and operation
must be in accordance with the norm DIN VDE
0100.
During assembly work the complete system
•
must be isolated from the power supply and
secured against unintended switch-on!
In the wash unit, use only the plug-in connectors
•
supplied with the appliance and specified in the
mounting instructions!
Cables must be so arranged that they are not in the
•
vicinity or moving parts! Damage or crushing must
thus be prevented!
The power supply cable from the unit must be
•
arranged so that it is not jammed between the unit
frame and the floor.
Variants for single units:
10.1
Direct wiring variant: (fig. 6)
Caution: This type of connection must only be
made by a qualified electrician!
Connect the mains cable from the floor to the
supplied system socket (fig. 4)
Insert the socket into the system connector
underneath the cover section and fasten the locking
clip (fig. 5).
10.2
Mains cable variant: (fig. 7)
Route the mains cable with plug to the outside
through the backside of column ( will be later fixed
into the installation tunnel).
In-line installation variants:

Primary in-line unit with direct connection
+ secondary in-line unit: (fig. 8)
> installation of primary in-line unit - see 10.1
> installation of secondary in-line unit:
Route the distrubutor cable of the Primary in-line
unit behind the base to the secondary in-line unit
und plug in there: To do so, detach the control
box (4) from the lower surface of the chair, insert
the system socket of the distribution cable into
the control box and reattach the control box to
the lower surface of the chair.

Primary in-line unit with mains cable
+ secondary in-line unit: (fig. 9)

Assembly:
11.1
Loosely bind the 2 pressure hoses (hot + cold) and drain
hose together using cable ties.
11.2
Hang the backside cover (1) onto the base:
Hold the cover at the front edge from both sides, pull
apart and draw it from the rear side onto the base:
Front edge of cover must engage in perpendicular
profile.
unit with mains cable:
Lead the mains cable through the cutout in the backside
cover.
unit with in-line installation:
Lead the distributor cable through the cutout in the
backside cover.
11.3
Put in the front cover (2) under the seat.
11.4
Attach the mounting strip (5) for installation tunnel
onto the backside cover over the cutout (fig. 2).
11.5
Attach the mounting strip (5.1) for installation tunnel
onto the wall (fig. 3).
Shorten the installation tunnel on the wall side if
neccessary.
11.6
Lay the installation tunnel onto the mounting strips.
Caution:
The ends of the installation tunnel must be fitted with
edge protection!
unit with mains cable:
Fix 3 self-adhesive cable clips (6) to the inner side of
the installation tunnel fig. 3
Fix mains cable in cable clips, plug mains cable into plug
socket at the wall.
11.7
only with in-line installation:
Attach mounting strips (5) for installation tunnel
onto the backside cover over the cutout at both units
(fig. 2).
Lay the installation tunnel onto the mounting strips.
Caution:
The ends of the installation tunnel must be fitted with
edge protection!
Fix 2 self-adhesive cable clips (6) to the inner side of
the installation tunnel fig. 2
Fix distributor cable in the cable clips.
