Disposal
Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally friendly manner so that
it can be recycled.
The device is governed by the European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electri-
cal and electronic equipment (WEEE). Do not dispose of the device as normal
domestic waste, but rather in an environmentally friendly manner via an offi cially
approved waste disposal company.

Fix
Clean the coffee outlet.
Descale the device with a standard
descaling agent for coffee ma-
chines.
Clean the device (see the "Clean-
ing" chapter).
Adjust the grinding time.
Only pour the quantity of water
required for the number of cups
you want into the water tank. We
recommend pouring one heaped
measuring spoon of coffee powder
per cup into the permanent fi lter.
Check the water quality and fi lter
the water if necessary.
Descale the device with a standard
descaling agent for coffee ma-
chines.
A smell often develops when new
devices are fi rst used. The smell
should disappear once the device
has been used several times.
Rinse out the device with clear
water.
