• Slightly tighten the steel cable with a small turn of the crank.
• Loosen the indexing pins and tommy screw
• Then, loosen the indexing pins and tommy screw
• Remove load.
• Make sure that the indexing pins are snapped into place, then tighten the tommy screws again.
• Turn the crank again by loosening the knurled nut, then tighten knurled nut.
• Loosen the indexing pins and tommy screw on the leg strut
strut. If necessary, insert the extendable leg fully beforehand. Make sure that the indexing pins are snapped into
place, then tighten the tommy screws again.
When transporting the stand, please make sure that all indexing pins are locked in place and that the tommy
screws are tightened.
3.4 Stand maintenance
The following points should be checked periodically:
• Is the stand free from damage? In particular, attention should be paid to damage to the tubes.
• Is it possible to release and tighten all indexing pins and tommy screws?
• Are the crankshaft and steel cable in perfect condition? The steel cable must not show any signs of damage,
such as dents, depressions or individual strands of cable sticking out.
If the stand shows visible signs of damage or does not function properly, then it should not be used until the
damage has been repaired by an expert.
