Startup
Important!
Unplug prior to any work done on the
device.
Assembling the chuck:
Screw the M14 adapter [9] onto the external
■
thread of the stirring shaft [8].
Assembling the stirring attachment /
changing the tool [fig. A]:
Screw the stirring attachment [10] with M14
■
external thread onto the M14 adapter [9] on
the stirring shaft [8].
3 The stirring attachment tightens while in opera-
tion.
Use a spanner (22 and 24 mm jaw size) to
■
release the stirring attachment [10]. Fix the
adapter with one spanner and turn the hexag-
onal socket of the stirring attachment with the
other spanner until the attachment is released.
Operation
Important!
Observe the mains voltage: The mains
voltage must conform with the voltage
specified on the name plate of your
device.
Always hold the machine with
both hands.
Unlock the ON/OFF button [1].

Switch ON/OFF using the button [2].
■
Infinitely variable speed
adjustment
If the ON/OFF button is slightly
pressed, the device operates with low
speed. This allows controlled start-up.
The more the button is pressed the
more the speed increases.
Use the device only with the ON/OFF
■
button [2] fully pressed.
Release the ON/OFF button [2] after the work
■
is done.
Reduce the speed when immersing the stirring
■
attachment in or when removing it from the
material to be stirred.
Increase the speed to maximum when the
■
stirring attachment is completely immersed in
the material. This ensures also sufficient motor
cooling.
While stirring, move the machine within the stir-
■
ring vessel. Stir the material until it is completely
mixed. Follow the processing instruction given
by the manufacturer of the material.
Gear selector switch(only RW 1400)
You can select two speed ranges with the gear
■
selector switch [6]

Lock the gear selector switch [6] in the desired
■
position. If you cannot select the gear, turn the
operating spindle slightly with your hand.
Use the gear selector switch [6] only if the
■
machine stands still!
