INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
B efore switching on the machine, check if all
screws and nuts are tight and if the grinding wheel
can rotate freely.
A lways grind on the front part of the grinding
wheel. Never overcharge the machine, causing the
grinding wheel to come to a halt.
T he machine is not intended for permanent use.
Make sure that the machine is not overheated. After
using the machine for 30 minutes, let it cool down to
ambient temperature.
DRY GRINDING
The dry-grinding wheel (2) is suitable for rough-
grinding activities.
U se a grinding wheel composed of soft stone for
grinding hard metals.
U se a grinding wheel composed of hard stone for
grinding soft metals.
B etween times, regularly cool the tools to be
grinded using a coolant.
R egularly adjust the spark guard and workpiece
support to compensate wear to the grinding wheel.
WET GRINDING
The wet-grinding wheel (9) is suitable for fine-
grinding activities. During use the grinding wheel
should run in water.
C heck before use whether the drain cock (14) has
been placed correctly, and fill the water reservoir
(10) up until approx. 1 cm below the edge (21) with
domestic water.
D uring use regularly check the water level.
Add water as required.
A fter use remove the drain cock to empty
the water reservoir.
SWITCHING ON AND OFF
T o switch the machine on, set the on/off
switch (1) to 'I'.
T o switch the machine off, set the on/off
switch (1) to '0'.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

The machine does not require any special
maintenance.
R egularly remove grindings from the
housing, the cover and the water reservoir.
LUBRICATION
The transmission drive to the wet-grinding stone
needs to be greased incidentally.
R emove the water reservoir (10).
R emove the cover (22) from the drive case (23).
A pply a large amount of ball-bearing grease to the
transmission drive (24).
R eplace the cover and water reservoir.

domestic waste but dispose of it in an
environmentally safe way.

The machine is intended for sharpening of tools
as well as for grinding and deburring metal.
FOR YOUR SAFETY
Machine is possible only when the
operating and safety information
are read completely and the
instructions contained therein are
strictly followed. In addition, the
general safety notes in the enclosed booklet
must be observed.
Before using for the first time, ask for a practical
demonstration.
Wear safety goggles. When necessary,
also wear an apron. For long hair, wear
hair protection. Work only with closely
fitting clothes.
 I f the mains cable is damaged or cut through
while working, do not touch the cable but
immediately pull the mains plug. Never use the
machine with a damaged cable.
 T he machine may be connected only to properly
earthed mains. The socket and extension cable
must have a functional protective conductor.
