Measurement under the arm
Make sure the armpit is dry and place the thermometer
under the arm. The sensor must touch the skin.
Keep your arm crossed in front of your chest. The
measurement takes approx. 20 seconds.
A temperature taken under the tongue is approx. 1.0°C
lower than when taken rectally.
Rectal measurement
Insert the thermometer sensor gently (maximum 1.25
cm). Measurement takes approx. 6 to 10 seconds.
The battery must be changed when the symbol
appears in the display. Battery type: 1.55V, LR41
alkaline or SR41 silver oxide type or similar.
1. Carefully remove the battery cover from the
thermometer.
2. Remove the battery protector.
3. Use a pointed (non-metal) object to remove the
battery. Insert the new battery with the + side
upward.
4. Replace the battery protector.
5. Slide the battery cover back in place.
Do not throw away empty or leftover batteries,
but instead hand them in to your local depot for
Household Chemical Waste.
