Battery
A battery that is new or has not been used for a longer
period does not develop its full capacity until after
approx. 2 – 3 charging/discharging cycles.
Do not place down the battery on radiators or expose
it to intense sunlight for longer periods; temperatures
above 50 °C cause damage.
Keep the contacts/terminals of the charger and
replaceable battery clean. For optimal service life,
fully charge the battery after use.
Overload protection
When overloading the battery through very high
power consumption, e.g. from extreme high torque
applications, jamming of the drill bit, sudden stopping
or short-circuiting, the power tool will hum for 2
then press it again.
The battery can heat up considerably under extreme
Charge the battery in the charger to recharge and to
reactivate it.
Dust Extraction
Dusts from materials such as lead-containing coatings,
some wood types, minerals and metal can be harmful
to one's health. Touching or breathing-in the dusts can
cause allergic reactions and/or lead to respiratory
infections of the user or bystanders.
Certain dusts, such as oak or beech dust, are
considered carcinogenic, especially in connection
with wood-treatment additives (chromate, wood
preservative). Materials containing asbestos may only
be worked on by specialists.
