packs should always be connected to the
heatable soles when outdoors (even if not
switched on). This will prevent moisture and dirt
from entering the connecting socket or plug. If
water does enter the connectors, drain the
Powerpack and let it dry.
The Therm-ic Basix Powerpack can not be
charged with a Therm-ic charger.
Do not insert any object, especially metal objects,
into connecting sockets or plugs because this
could cause damage to the unit.
If you notice any damage to connecting cables or
other parts of the unit, do not use it. Do not make
any modifications to the unit or use it for any
unintended purpose. Repairs to the unit or its
connecting leads are only to be carried out by the
manufacturer.
Never mix different types of batteries or battery
packs together in a Basix battery housing.
Never recharge the batteries, as this could cause
an explosion. Risk of explosion!
Keep batteries away from children. Do not throw
them into fire, short-circuit them or take them
apart.
Contact a doctor immediately if a battery is
swallowed.
Always remove used batteries from the
equipment and dispose of them, as the
Powerpack could be damaged by leaking battery
acid.
Do not expose the batteries to extreme
conditions, such as putting them on heaters. This
will increase the risk of battery leakage.
Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous
membranes. Should you come into contact with
battery acid, wash the affected location
immediately with large amounts of pure water.
Contact a doctor immediately.
