Reactivatable charcoal filter
This charcoal filter can be reused
several times by reactivating it in an
oven or in a steam combination oven
When should the charcoal filter be
reactivated?
Reactivation should be carried out
when the charcoal filter is no longer
effective at neutralising odours.
It should be reactivated at least every
6 months.
Using for the first time: if your cooker
hood has a charcoal filter operating
hours counter please activate it.
Instructions on how to do so are
given in the operating instruction
manual for the cooker hood.
Take the ventilation grille off the
recirculation box. It is held in position
by magnets.
This charcoal filter is breakable.
When handling it be careful not to
drop it. Do not press against the
webbing either.

Carefully pull the charcoal filter out of
the recirculation box by the tabs on
either side the filter. Place it on a flat
surface.
Reactivating charcoal filters
This charcoal filter must not be
cleaned in a dishwasher!
Reactivation must only be carried out
in an oven or in a steam combination
oven using the oven function.
Do not wash this charcoal filter by
hand.
This charcoal filter is breakable.
When handling it be careful not to
drop it. Do not press against the
webbing either.
Wipe the charcoal filter with a damp
cloth before reactivating it. Do not
use any cleaning agents.
If your oven has a removable grease
filter in the back of the oven
compartment please remove it. See
the instruction manual supplied with
the oven for instructions on how to
do this.
Do not pre-heat the oven. Place the
charcoal filter on the rack in the
centre of the oven.
