• Once you have the position of the rails set from step 6, check to see if you are happy with the level of the
rails at the cab end (FIG. 7A). If you are happy with the level of the rails, you can move on to the next step.
If the rails are tipped down, open the tailgate and slide the canister and rails back a few inches.
• There are 2 x 1/16" white shims and 2 x 1/8" black shims in your comp kit. Add shims to the top of the
foam on your sill filler (FIG. 7B) until you reach your preferred rail angle. When you are satisfied with your
shim selection you can slide the rails back on the foam, and move on to the next step.
