Operating instruction for the electrifiable security box

General safety indication
The energizer has to be turned off before any intervention!
INFORMATION REGARDING THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL
The instruction manual provides important references concerning the handling of the energizer.
All technical specifications within this manual have been composed and reviewed with high diligence.
Anyway we can´t eliminate mistakes.
We point out that we neither can´t resume a warranty nor a judicial responsibility or liability caused by inaccurate
information.
We are always grateful for advices regarding possible mistakes within the manual.
The compliance of the safety indications stated is the requirement for a certain operating condition.
Furthermore local regulations for the prevention of industrial accidents and general safety regulations need to be met.
Please read this manual carefully before working with our products.
It is a component of the product and has to be preserved within spitting distance to the product accessible for staff at
any time.
If you sell or pass over this product, please absolutely hand out the instruction manual, too.

Installation
ATTENTION!
Please only use rechargeable 12 V batteries.
Only charge batteries in adequately ventilated rooms.
Separate the battery from the energizer while charging process.
Battery should be charged before and after every application (eve-
ry 2 months) and should be branched off the energizer.
The energizer has to be installed within the electrifiable security box
corresponding to figure 1.
Connect the connection wire (1)from the positive pole of the energizer at
the panel sheet of the electrifiable security box (Z) and the connection
cable (2) for the electrical grounding to the earth bolt(9) at point (E) corre-
sponding to figure 1.
The electrical power supply of the battery will be separated by opening
the door of the electrifiable security box with connecting the energizer
across the contact switch (6) corresponding to figure 1 to 4.
Thereby the impact of the electrical impulse at the box will be interrupted
and re-activated while locking the going energizer.

ATTENTION!
In case you use the electrifiable security box in connection the
energizer ranger AN 50 or ranger AN 70, without the „Always On"-
softwarefunction, the energizer won´t be
re-activated while closing the box. In case of opening the box,
please use the supplied insulated key and switch off the energizer
directly. Avoid getting close to the metal box walls.
An operation via the contact switch (6) is not possible with the energizers
Ranger AN50 and Ranger AN70. Instead you have to connect the energizer
directly with the 12 V battery. Connect the 12 V battery (figure 2) (red + /
black -) and pay attention to the right polarity and clean clips.
The energizer won´t start with wrong polarity. After bringing your energizer
into service and closing the safety box please proof the voltage at your fence.
On the top of the box there are two holes here can on a special holder for
solar panels (article-no. 14143) be fixed. Due to the high wind resistance only
20 watt solar panels with a maximum size of 67,2cm x 29,6cm x 2,5cm can
be used.
Operation with conventional electric fencers with Radio/GPS modules is only
possible to a limited extent or not at all.
Ensure good mobile network reception and outdoor installation.
Horizont himps electric fencers can optionally be operated with an external
antenna that can be attached to the metal box. This can increase the recepti-
on quality.
ATTENTION:
DANGER!
Please note that the security box is under high voltage while operation!
STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
Please pay attention! Your energizer has to be switched off during transport and storage.
ADVICE!
Batteries have to be stored in dry and adequately ventilated rooms.
The ventilation holes of the metal box must always be kept free due to the gassing of the battery.
DYSFUNCTION AND REPARATION
WARNING!
Repairs may only be executed by qualified persons.
Please only use spare parts instructed by the manufacturer.
