When using the appliance, make sure
the lid is closed correctly.

Do not touch the hot parts of the
appliance. Always use the handle.

CAUTION: In case you have over-
filled the appliance, hot water might
escape.

Be careful not to get burned by the
hot steam that evaporates when the
water is boiling and especially when
you open the lid.

When descaling, use a product
specifically made for that purpose
that you find in the shops. Do not use
ammonia or any other substance that
could damage your health.

Only use your appliance with the
appropriate base.
(*) Competent qualified electrician:
after sales department of the produ-
cer or importer or any person who is
qualified, approved and competent
to perform this kind of repairs in or-
der to avoid all danger. In any case
you should return the appliance to
this electrician.
BEFORE FIRST USE
Before first use or after descaling, it
is necessary to boil water in the jug
kettle and to pour it out (see para-
graph "Use"). Repeat the process 3
times with fresh water. Then rinse with
cold water.
USE
· Take the jug kettle from its base
and open the lid of the water tank
by putting a little pressure on the
unlocking device.
· Fill the water tank with the desired
amount of cold water (Picture A)

and make sure to fill it between the
indicated minimum and maximum
water level.
· Close the lid (the appliance will only
work when the lid is closed).
· Put the jug kettle back on its base
(Picture B) and plug in the appli-
ance.
· Press on the switch by moving it
downwards into the position "I"
(Picture C). The jug kettle will start
operating.
