14. Programming

You can programm the following stages:
¼ Filter
¼ Water hardness
¼ Steam portion
¼ Water portion
¼ Time
¼ Draw offs
¼ No. of descaling operations
¼ Language

14.1 Programming the water hardness

Refer to Chapter 5 "Adjusting the water hardness".

14.2 Programming steam

Use the ON/OFF key to switch on the machine.
MACHINE HEATING
RINSE – PRESS DRAW-OFF KEY
Place a cup under the coffee outlet and press one of the draw-off
buttons (ESPRESSO or LUNGO).
RINSING
READY
Press the programming button until the machine switches over to
programming mode.
FILTER
Press the arrow keys a number of times until the following
message appears:
STEAM
Press the programming button to activate the programming step.
20 SEC.
Use the arrow keys to adjust the seconds.

Press programming button to confirm your settings.
STEAM
Use the arrow keys to activate the next programming level or
press the arrow keys until the following message is displayed:
EXIT
Press the programming button to quit the programming mode.

14.3 Programming water

Use the ON/OFF key to switch on the machine.
MACHINE HEATING
RINSE – PRESS DRAW-OFF KEY
Place a cup under the coffee outlet and press one of the draw-off
buttons (ESPRESSO or LUNGO).
RINSING
READY
Press the programming key until the machine switches over to
programming mode.
FILTER
Press the arrow keys a number of times until the following
message appears:
WATER
Press the programming button to activate the programming step.
VALVE / OPEN
Turn the hot water / steam valve to Hot Water / Steam (Fig. 4).
ENOUGH / WATER?
When the required water quantity is drawn off, turn back the hot
water / steam valve to Coffee position (Fig. 3).

message appears:
