Thank you for purchasing a häwa air-to-water heat exchanger. You now own a state-of-the-art, high efficiency air conditioner, and we have put together
this operation manual to provide you with detailed information on the handling and safe operation of the system, to ensure a long, trouble-free service
life.
Please retain this manual and make sure it is read, understood, and adhered to by the operating personnel. This manual has to stay with the unit for its
life cycle.
Should there be any questions left about the unit or the functionality after reading the manual, please contact your local distribution partner or the
manufacturer direct.
2. Safety Regulations
2.1 General Safety Regulations
Systems with moving parts always bear the risk of injury, and require a high degree of attention and care.
To play for safety, please read this entire manual attentively before taking the unit in operation.
The air conditioner must only be operated in flawless condition.
Changes have to be reported to a supervisor immediately
Only authorized, trained personnel is allowed to work on the unit
Improper us of the unit is not permitted
The unit is not designed for any other uses than described in this manual. In case of misapplication, we can not be made respon-
sible for resulting damage and/or injuries.
2.2 Additional Safety Regulations for the use of this air-to-water heat exchanger
Installation, start-up, commissioning of the unit, and repairs must only be performed by trained, authorized personnel, which also has read and
understood this manual.
For damages caused by inappropriate installation or negligence of the safety regulations, häwa GmbH cannot be made liable.
3. Condition of Units
The air-to-water heat exchanger is state of the art and adheres to all safety requirements in place at the time of marketing and based on the intended
use.
The ait-to-water heat exchanger has a EC declaration of conformity (see attachment), and such adheres to the requirements of the machinery directive
2006/42/EG.
3.1 Intended Usage
This air-to-water heat exchanger's sole purpose is the removal of heat from electrical/electronic cabinets and enclosures for the protection of tempera-
ture critical elements.
For appropriate operation of the device all information and remarks of the operating manual and the related technical datasheet have to be respected.
Improper handling can result in damages to the unit, material assets, environmental assets, and even injuries to personnel.
Units that cannot be used anymore have to be recycled professionally and environmentally friendly.
4. Scope of Delivery
Air-to-water heat exchanger, mounting screws, gasket (if not foamed-in place), manual, technical data sheet, cut-out drawing, and electrical drawing.
