WORKWEAR

Dress appropriately. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry that may get caught in moving parts. We recommend
the use of:

Eye protection (goggles/safety glasses/methacrylate shields).

Hearing protection (earphones/ear plugs).

Hand protection (gloves/gloves).

Leg protection (trousers/leggings).

Foot protection (safety boots).
WORK AREA SAFETY
•
Do not use the machine in extreme temperatures.
•
Keep the machine away from excessive humidity.
•
Do not use this machine in an explosive atmosphere where flammable liquids, gases, and dust are present.
•
Keep the work area clean and well lit. Cluttered and dark areas may cause an accident.
•
Keep children, people, and animals away while using this machine.
•
When work is being performed by two or more persons at the same time, always check the position of others
and maintain a sufficient distance to ensure safety.
•
Remember that the operator of the machine is responsible for hazards and accidents caused to other people or
property. The manufacturer is in no way responsible for any damage caused by improper or incorrect use of this
machine.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
•
This equipment can be a potential source of electrical shock if used improperly.
•
Ensure that all power supplies meet the voltage requirements of the equipment before connecting or
disconnecting the equipment.
•
Use only extension cords that are approved for outdoor use and are splash-proof. The cross-section of the
extension cable must be at least 1.5 mm² for cables up to 25 m and at least 2.5 mm² for cables longer than 25 m.
•
Keep the machine away from water and excessive humidity.
•
Do not use electric cables to lift, move or transport equipment. Protect cables from heat and sharp objects.
•
Make sure that the power cables do not present a tripping hazard.
•
When using the power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use.
MAINTENANCE, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE SAFETY

Do not modify the product controls.
•
Switch off the machine immediately and wait for all moving parts to stop if a foreign object is struck or if the
machine starts to make unusual noises or vibrate.
•
Regularly check for broken parts or other conditions that may affect the proper operation of the machine.
•
Do not allow machined media to accumulate in the ejection area, as this may prevent proper ejection and cause
the media to bounce back from the feed opening.
•
Replace worn or damaged parts immediately with original spare parts only.
•
Perform periodic maintenance on the machine. Do not attempt any maintenance or repair work that is not
described in these operating instructions. We recommend that maintenance and repair work not described in this
manual be carried out by an authorised service agent.
•
Always clean dust and dirt from the machine after finishing work.
•
Do not clean the machine with solvents, flammable liquids or aggressive abrasives.
•
Keep the handles on this machine dry and clean.
•
Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Well-maintained cutting tools reduce the likelihood of accidents because
they are easier to control.
