SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
You must disconnect the disposer from the mains for repairs.Pull
out the power (mains) plug.
If there is an overload on the unit the disposer stops automati-
cally.
If an object falls into the housing or if there is overload the waste
disposer stops automatically. You should operate as follows:
1. Put the switch of the plant in the OFF position and unplug it.
2. Insert the hex wrench into the opening at the bottom of
the motor shaft and rotate the tool and the counter clock
wise to unblock the food waste disposer (see fig.5)
3. Remove the obstruction or the overload.
4. Wait for 5/10 minutes.
5. Push the red reset disposer bottom (see fig.6) and restart
the disposer.

FOR YOUR SAFETY
Never reach into the grinder of the disposer before you have
unplugged the device plug.
DISPOSER MAINTENANCE
With normal usage your disposer should not require any special
care.
The motor is permanently lubricated and will not require oiling
under normal conditions. If used according to the operating
instructions above, your disposer should not require cleaning.
However should it start to smell grinding a tray of ice cubes
in the disposer will clean the grinding components. Grinding
a lemon cut into quarters will also give your disposer a fresh,
clean smell.

FRANKE guarantees the waste disposer to be free from
any material and workman ship defects during the war-
ranty period. The warranty starts from the purchasing
date, signed on the accompanying document or on the
cash voucher and it is valid as follows.
Warranty complies with legal requirements.
The warranty service can be denied if:
• Improper installation and/or use.
• The disposer's defect is caused by improper
usage or installation.
• The disposer's defect is caused external by
factors.
• The disposer is incorrectly used and not accor-
ding to the suggested rules.
• The disposer has been modified in some way.
Used in a proper way your waste disposer will last for
many years.
This product complies with the requirements of EU
Directive 2002/96/EEC.
Warning
Please inform yourself whether the use of a waste dis-
poser is permitted or not. There are some geographical
areas where waste disposers are not allowed.
Please check whether the use of a disposer is legal in
your area or not. Please contact your responsible autho-
rity for waste water. No responsibility can be accepted
if these guidelines are not followed.
The FRANKE food waste disposer is compatible with
sinks with 3½" outlets (not sinks with integrated
wastes).
