5.4.2 Storing the split time
• Start the stop watch with the START/STOP button. Once the
first runner finishes the race, press the LAP/RESET button
and with the second runner the START/STOP button. On the
display you can read the time of the first runner and by
pressing the LAP/RESET button the time of the second run-
ner. Press the LAP/RESET button again to clear the values.
6. Battery replacement
• Change the battery when the display and/or the sound
become weak.
• Open the battery compartment by unscrewing the six
small screws with a suitable screwdriver.
• Remove the cover carefully.
• Slide the two battery holders to the side and put a new bat-
tery LR 44 (+ pole above)
• Slide the two battery holders back again onto the battery.
• Before you screw the cover back on again, insert the hand
strap into the two slots.
7. Waste disposal
This product and its packaging have been manufactured
using high-grade materials and components which can be
recycled and reused. This reduces waste and protects the
environment.
Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly man-
ner using the collection systems that have been set up.
Disposal of the electrical device
Remove non-permanently installed batteries and
rechargeable batteries from the device and dis-
pose of them separately. This product is labelled
in accordance with the EU Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE).
Please do not dispose of this product in ordinary
household waste. As a consumer, you are
required to take end-of-life devices to a designat-
ed collection point for the disposal of electrical
and electronic equipment, in order to ensure
environmentally-compatible disposal. Observe
the current regulations in place!

(Li=lithium) present a high risk of fire and explosion due to
heat or mechanical damage with potentially serious conse-
quences for people and the environment. Pay particular
attention to correct disposal.

Disposal of the batteries
Never dispose of empty batteries and recharge-
able batteries with ordinary household waste.
They contain pollutants which, if improperly dis-
posed of, can harm the environment and human
health. As a consumer, you are required by law to
take them to your retail store or to an appropriate
collection site depending on national or local reg-
ulations in order to protect the environment.
The symbols for the contained heavy metals are:
Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead.
