4.0 Maintenance
The safety instructions specified in chapter 1, section 1.2 must be observed!
– When used as intended, the STM .. 24 V 2P is maintenance-free.
– Should damage occur, the STM .. 24 2P must not be operated any longer and it must
be replaced!
4.1 Information – Fault causes
The safety instructions specified in chapter 1, section 1.2 must be observed!
Faults may only be rectified by specialist personnel!

4.2 Standstill and disposal
The safety instructions specified in chapter 1, section 1.2 must be observed!
m The STM .. 24 V 2P must be fully isolated from the mains power supply before
dismantling!
Parts and components of the STM .. 24 V 2P, whose service life has expired, e.g. due
to wear and tear, corrosion, mechanical load, fatigue and/or other effects that cannot
be directly discerned, must be disposed of expertly and properly after disassembly in
accordance with the national and international laws and regulations. The same also
applies to auxiliary materials in use, such as oils and greases or other substances. The
intended and unintended further use of worn parts can result in danger to persons, the
environment as well as machines and systems. The corresponding operator guidelines
applicable on-site must be observed and used.
