10. POWER INDICATOR
This indicator lights when you switch your effect on.
11. POWER SWITCH
Press this switch to turn the power ON, press again to turn the power OFF. When operating this switch, make sure that all controls are set at
minimum position.
12. RECALL BUTTON
Use this button to recall an effect you save in the memory banks. For recall, first press the RECALL button then choose the bank number ( 0 to 63 )
using the jog wheel. To recall the effect, press the ENTER button.
13. ENTER BUTTON
The ENTER button is used to save or to recall an effect from the memory banks
14. DOWN BUTTON
This button is used to go to the first effect of each group of effects. ( Ex : effect 1 for Large hall group, effect 17 for large hall with high frequency
filter on decay group, ... )
15. LEFT INPUT CONNECTORS
This sockets are balanced. Connect one of this socket to the left output of your mixer.
16. LEFT OUTPUT CONNECTORS
This sockets are balanced. Connect one of this socket to the left input of your power amplifier.
17. RIGHT INPUT CONNECTORS
This sockets are balanced. Connect one of this socket to the right output of your mixer.
18. RIGHT OUTPUT CONNECTORS
This sockets are balanced. Connect one of this socket to the right input of your power amplifier.
19. MIDI IN SOCKET
Connect to this socket an item equiped with a same MIDI socket.
20. BYPASS FOOT CONNECTOR
This socket is used to validate the effect you choose when you can't use your hands. One press with your foot allows the DSP-256 to simulate the
effect. Another press with your foot and the DSP-256 become inactive.
21. EFFECT FOOT CONNECTOR
This socket is used to increase the effect number when you can't use your hands. Each press with your foot increase the effect number of one step.
22. POWER SUPPLY SELECTOR
Use this selector to choose the good Power supply. ( several countries have another power supply )
23. POWER SUPPLY SOCKET
Plug the AC power cord into any standard AC outlet. Before plugging this cord in, be sure the voltage of AC outlet is correct.
WARRANTY CONDITIONS
BST equipment is covered by a 1-year warranty on parts and labour except for Crossfaders (90 days).
The following rules apply from the day the equipment leaves the factory:
The date on the invoice is considered to be the date the warranty begins.
Only companies approved by BST are allowed to work on the equipment. Warranty becomes void when other service technicians open the equipment.
During warranty period, defective equipment must be sent by pre-paid mail in the original box.
BST will return the goods by pre-paid mail during the first year of warranty; thereafter the mailing cost is to be paid by the recipient
Potentiometers have a limited lifetime and are not covered by the manufacturer for more than normal use.
