Compact Door
Coding Unit
421 - 30
External noise influences - reset
Despite internal proofing measures exceptionally strong
noise fields can bring about a malfunction
microprocessor-controlled door coding system.
Noise influences can be prevented if the following points
are heeded during installation:
- Do not mount the unit in the immediate vicinity
of inductive power consumers.
- Lay a separate line for mains voltage supply
(possibly using a mains filter)
- Suppress any inductive power consumers
(varistors, RC-sections)
After elimination of the noise, resetting of the door coding
system is necessary. For this purpose the reset pins, which
are located on the main board, have to be bypassed briefly.
