TOASTER OPERATION

1.
Plug mains plug into socket.
2.
Place slices of bread (1 or 2) in the toast compartment.
3.
Set the required degree of browning (electronic browning control settings 1-7;
1=light, 7=dark).
We recommend browning setting 3 when using the toaster for the first time. You
may prefer different degrees of browning for different types of bread.
Highlift Feature: To eject smaller slices of toast, raise the toast lever to about
2 cm above the starting position.
4.
Press the toast lever down until it clicks. This starts the browning process. Please
note that the toast lever does not click into place if the toaster is not plugged into
the mains.
5.
The toaster switches off automatically when the required degree of browning is
reached and ejects the slices of toast automatically. The browning process can
be interrupted at any time by pressing the "Cancel" button.
Toasting frozen bread: To toast bread straight from the deepfreeze, place the
slices of bread in the toaster and set the required degree of browning. Press
the toast lever down until it clicks into place then press the "Frozen" (defrost)
button.
Warming toast: You can warm toast without re-toasting with this toaster. To
warm a slice of toast, place the toast in the toast compartment, press the toast
lever down until it clicks, then press the "Reheat" warming button.
