HINTS
1. The volume of a milk shake will vary depending on the type of milk used.
2. It is important to follow guidelines in the recipes to avoid spillage from the jug.
3. Always remember that solids, such as ice cream or fruit, will increase the volume
of the milkshake.
4. Extra volume may be achieved if the ingredients are chilled.
SOBA-Drink
1 citron
1 grapefruit
1 dl water
3 tablespoon peppermint sirup
2-3 ice cubes
Place juice of citon and grapefruit,
water, peppermint
cubes into jug. Process for 30-40
seconds. Pour into glasses and serve
immediately.
Chocolate Mud Smoothie
1/2 cups milk
1/3 cup strong black coffee, chilled
2 tablespoon chocolate topping
2 scoops chocolate ice cream
1/2 cup King Island ceream
1 Flake chocolate bar, crumbled
Place milk, coffee, topping and ice
cream into jug. Process for 30-40
seconds or until smooth, thick and
creamy. Pour into glasses, top with a
dollop of cream. Sprinkle with crumbled
flake bar and serve immediately with a
straw. straw.

sirup and ice
Power Shake
1/2 cups low fat milk
1/2 cup low fat vanila yoghurt
2 tablespoons skim milk powder
2 tablespoon unprocess bran
1 tablespoon wheat germ
1 tablespoon honey
2 fresh or canned plums in natural juices,
peeled,halved and seeded
1/4 cup crushed ice
Place milk, yoghurt, skim milk powder,
bran, wheatgerm,
into jug. Process for 30-40 seconds or
until smooth, thick and creamy. Pour
into glasses, top with ice and serve
immediately. immediately.
Strawberries Flipped
3/4 cup low fat milk
3 tablespoons low fat strawberry yoghurt
3 tablespoons orange juice
6 strawberries, hulled and halved
Place milk, yoghurt, orange juice and
strawberries into jug. Process for 30-
40 seconds or until smooth. Thick and
creamy. Pour into glasses and serve
immediately.
